Can't wait to see the Californian guard. <br /><br />By the way Eric at Eureka Stockade, two hundred Americans, the Independent Californian Rangers, under the leadership of James McGill were involved in the uprising and armed with revolvers and Mexican knives and they possessed horses. Had they not unwittingly moved out to intercept rumoured British reinforcements they would have been involved at the stockade and the event may have turned out differently.<br /><br />So there you have it Californians at the door step.
