If there's a downfall to the "Big Three" HMGS historical conventions is that, even after years of attending, you don't get to meet everybody there.
Even then, you know of other people: the ancients tourney guys, the WW2 extravaganza guys, even those infernal Gnome guys.
Hal Dyson was the Aerodrome guy, and he passed away earlier this month.
Mister Nizz from Third Point of Singularity was far more familiar with the gentlemen, so I'll refer dear readers to his post.
Despite never playing in any of the Aerodrome games, there was something comforting about seeing those big wooden command consoles, filled with pegs, lining the table, every convention.
