Happy Birthday Maja... *NOT* on a Boat!

Barring a new crazy pandemic, we're on a boat!

It's our standard vacation cruise, same itinerary, nothing particularly cool history or gaming-wise, but noooo, somebody couldn't wait for bat jerky or something within the wilds of a foreign county, and now 2020 has been swallowed up by COVID-19.  Even at my most positive, I knew our cruise was a 50/50 shot at best. and we're still pondering getting a refund or rescheduling.  May was the perfect time of year for all of us schedule-wise and all the available options interfere with work or basketball.

*Sigh*

Amidst all this chaos,  it's also Miss Maja's 11th birthday today, not on said boat.  Our family gaming has suffered with the onset of her crazy basketball schedule, her voracious appetite for reading... and mashed potatoes, plus her own phone has turned her into a teenager a little earlier than we'd like, but she's also one of the sweetest, knowledgeable people I know.   Riverdale young adult readers one week, books on Nazi Germany and the Holocaust next, it's always going to be a cerebral adventure with this one.
