Thumbnail Sketch:  The southernmost and westernmost of the Six Kingdoms, Lygresse has a rich history influenced by Senzar, Feraso, and the other five kingoms amongst the isles.

The distinctive architecture of the land is best seen in the cities.  The ancient temples and cairns are also worth a look.

The capital of Camelough is said to rival Feraso City, Senzar, Barthey, and exceeds Hydincall, and has a renowned university.  The Druidic College of Shellot brings those from all over the world to study.  and has a healthy rivalry, rebelling against the Archbishop of Broswiccan in Albion.

Like the other members of the Six Kingdoms, the hearty stock of folk has been tempered by Senzar, Feraso, and certainly Wyrmnalian incursion,  This proves more daunting, as larger veins of platinum and mithril continue to be studied.
Geograpnhy of Note:

The Royal Castle at Camelough
The Druidic College of Shellot
The University of Camelough.... and Magic College

WyrmCrete:
The true home of the legendary Knights of the Round Table, still active to this day.

Mentions of Lygresse in the Blog:
Lost Dispatches of Feraso #67 - A mention of the high quality magic school in Camelough.

This is the part of the world where some watery tart can throw a sword at you and you become king....

GM Notes:  It makes sense in a fantasy world that Arthurian legend, particularly later mythology gives Arthur his own kingdom.  Following my previous write-up  for Albion, Lygresse has tried to outright conquer their island neighbors.  Sometime within the last 200 years, the other kingdoms must have let bygones be bygones. They again repel a dark Arthurian-themed invasion and the Celtic/Norse influences remain on the throne.

My only interest in Lygresse came from the ill-suited Avalanche Press d20 products from the early 2000s.  Normally known for their dry, detailed interiors and cheesecake covers,   I, Mordred detailed a world with a tyrant king, and Mordred as a freedom fighter trying to usurp his power.    We just never got as far as running a different Hackmaster campaign after the Burning Trogs Rule!  finished.
