(Painting) Ewoks, Ready for War!

As I mentioned last month, I got a nice haul of Star Wars minis from the flea market at Fall-In! 2024.

One of the reasons I jumped on grabbing more bags of minis was that there was an entire bag of Ewoks, apparently fully painted and based!  My first chance to refurbish them resulted in my discovery:  They weren't West End Metal Ewoks at all, rather, the Micromachine Ewoks! 

It took some effort (and two band-aids) to separate the the rubbery Ewoks off the 32mm washers they were based on, and onto much more compact 20mm MDF bases. 

I'll need to stat these bad boys out in Fistful of Lead, as I'm planning at least two of my Death Planet Iota games for Historicon 2025 next year.
