(Painting) D&D Birch Blights (WotC 3e)

The one positive or drawback of summer yardwork is that, unless you want triple the work, it's a weekly endeavor.  And if I'm down at my mom's, taking care of the lawn, I'm swinging by Cloud City Games to pick up those other two packs of Twig Blights from the D&D 3rd Edition line of minis.

I've noticed a few folks with videos trying to paint Ents and the sort in a birch theme, but in all the years I've lived around the trees, which proliferate well in the wetlands and forest fire damaged areas around my house, I have never seen birches that looked like their final products.  The twig blights aren't the best at recreating them either, especially with the vertical instead of horizontal recesses, but one flick of white highlights and they looked better.

With a dozen twig blights, I guess I need a game with them in it, either D&D or some skirmish level.  A perfect low level threat to the mouslings, perhaps.
