Squirrel Diplomacy

In a house with one parent working from home, two children learning virtually, one adult cat, and four rapidly growing rescue kittens, it's the two annoying dogs that cause the most stress.

Perhaps they're the most loyal members of families, giving us loud, barking updates of the nefarious activities of the army of squirrels outside.  

Last year snow came twice before the leaves fell, but the number of acorns that fell was simply extraordinary.  Ultimately, most went in the same direction of the leaves, but so many were imbedded into the lawn that a late legion of squirrels moved into our yard. 

Here's hoping somebody else produce a bountiful harvest and the squirrels migrate there.  Three humans working online appreciate it.
