Lost Dispatches of Feraso #55 - Wandsregal

27th of NonDec, The Year 1037

To His Esteemed Nobility, Sir Elsderth Greyhawk, Baron of Greyhawk.

I again extend the most despondent sorrow for the loss of your dear friend, Andrei Krasimir, Magic-User Extraordinaire.

I also grant you the highest praise for employing my expertise to reconcile the estate of Andrei.

Andrei had written a last will and testament, which was found in one of the less dangerously trapped areas of his tower.

His demands were few.  With no family he would still converse with, a bit of his magical fortune would go for basic upgrades and repairs within the surrounding village of Mechitbayeva.  A new school, some newer wells, perhaps the repair of the road leading into town.

The bulk of his money was to go to the locals of Sheagov, were the Krasimir household runs a number of manors.  The gold was not to go to the family, rather local families, rich and poor.  I can only hope to people of Sheagov are smart enough to put the money to good use, but simple enough not to make it a display.

The auction for the tower, a very common and well attended event among the wizards of Hermetus, was no exception.  The tower itself went for nearly 300,000gp in a heated auction. The woman bidder was also quite aggressive in a number of furnishings and some of the magical devices.

All told, over one million pieces of gold were put up for the estate of Andrei Krasimir.  He appears to be quite a successful wizard, and the spectacle of the auction has been unseen in this region of Hermetus.
The original design for Krasimir Tower came from similar structures in Argivia.
Should any inquiries come about for the devices and items formerly in the possession of Andrei Krasimir, you should direct them to the new inhabitant of his tower, one wizardress, Thendara Wandsregal.

My associated fees are included in the documentation attached with this letter.

Sincerely,

Lazor Sanorlan, Barrister

GM Notes:  Andrei, you fool... what did you do to attract the ire of a middle-aged (and fabulously wealthy) Thendara Wandsregal?
