22nd of NonDec, 1134 - On the road in Yarbay
Past the now evil-free monastery,  the Great Pass lived up to it's name, three or even four times wider than a traditional highway in a civilized kingdom.   It narrowed at a Green Dragon head on the wall of the pass.  The head came to life and told them to go away.  Then a second head nearby appeared.

Something from that dragon caused Zorin to flee like the biggest coward in the Mer Kasp  By the time he recovered his path back to the group was blocked with a huge firewall.  He downed a potion of levitation, double his resolved against his pyromania and walked over the wall of fire.  He could still see not only the dragon, but Turvel floating but unconscious, six other unconscious brigands? and Gwen is surrounded by five more!  Suddenly she turned into an eagle and began flying around.
Then six brigands wake up and all 11 went after poor Ramsa!  Levitating Zorin rained down a few Redrock cocktails to help the halfling out, but things looked grim for everyone.

Then, the dragon heads fell silent.  With the dragon quiet, the eleven men scampered off.

The dragon turned out to be a cleverly disguised wooden structure with a wizard inside .  Whitey and Coreena killed the wizard controlling and with that, the resolve of his henchmen disintegrated.

Zorin: "Whitey rocks!"

Terval died during the melee.

The Trogs claimed the lair as their camp for the night.

23rd of NonDec, 1134  - Still in the mountains of Yarbay
Zorin: "Whitey was able to resurrect Terval, but now he suffers from nosebleeds, smells bad, and is blind, which make the dragon wizards new spellbook, kinda worthless."

The Trogs move on.  By mid-day, Gwen had discovered the wizard's wand and dagger were also magical.

24th of NonDec, 1134 -  Out of the mountains of Yarbay
The Great Pass emptied into a lush plain.  While crossing a rivers they saw fifteen centaurs in the distance.  They never get any closer before the creatures ran off.  Later that day, the centaurs surrounded the party and took them to their camp. they surround us and take us to their camp.  After convincing them that we are not Geonids (which no one had heard of),  they eventually let them go unharmed.

25th of NonDec, 1134 -
The plain sloped up towards yet another mountain pass.  By mid-afternoon they came upon a large weary wooden gate.

Zorin: "A guy comes out and gives us attitude, so we killed him."

Then a giant standing atop the mountain to the left demanded them pay some coin for safe passage. A few missed rocks convinced the Trogs to pay the toll rather than assault up a cliff face

28th of NonDec, 1134 - Magden, Yarbay!
Zorin: "Holy crap!  A town!"

This town was Magden, one of the few Yarbay towns, and getting closer to the border with the Parthian Empire.

Inside the gates. they caught a puppet show that indicated that the Master got the giants to serve him for 100 years. The merchants were all packing up to go on caravan, but the Trogs did managed to replenish basic supplies, but no weapons. The weird town guard was dressed in robes and wielding maces and staring the Trogs down at every opportunity.

29th of NonDec, 1134 - Magden, Yarbay!
Zorin: "Whitey rocks!  He healed Terval's vision and my arm!  I spend a day in the bar learning what I can about the local events.  Not much seems to be going on.  The guys with maces are local clergy who do act as town watch.  Evidently they can read minds."

They also discover that the Master was recruiting, but mostly monster races.

They figured out where the Temple of Death was (downstream).  They also manage to get horses to replace the ones the Hydra had killed and prepared to make their way out of town.

On our way back to the inn the party was stopped by the local mind-reading clerics.

Zorin: "They try to arrest us.  We have a dispute with this decision.  We came to blows."

Gwen took a rough blow to the foot, but otherwise the Trogs kick ass.  Of course, since they just killed eight town guards leaving town immediately was imperative.

Terval grabbed every one's stuff from the inn.  Whitey tended to at Gwen's foot with Ramsa standing guard while Zorin got the horses.

When Zorin came around with the horses, Terval was being chased by another guard and Whitey, Gwen, and Ramsa were being attacked by six more.

Zorin could do nothing but charge into the fray.  This angered the bar patrons, who stormed out of the inn. Terval took out the bar patrons with a Grease spell and a Color Spray.  They kill the cleric guards and moved out.

Being pursued by the many guards, they encountered ten peasants armed with some type of pike blocking their entrance out the eastern (exit) gate.   After Terval took down one peasant with a color spray and severely wounded another, the peasants fled and the Trogs triumphantly rode downstream for the Temple of Death.

Zorin: All told we killed 14 guards, and their high priest, but none of the villagers.  Whatta day!
