For a Fistful More #1 - The Fabled Treasure of Womprat Wanyo

The town of Carf mourned the death of it's oldest resident, Womprat Wanyo.  Few knew that on his deathbed, Wanyo admitted to Captain Reynolds the location of his buried treasure.

But Captain Reynolds wasn't the only one with that knowledge, Flash Daydreamer and his motley gang had even more criminal intentions, ransacking Wanyo's room, and finding a treasure map with the same location.

It would be a foot race to determine would could walk away with the treasure.

Objective:  Womprat Wanyo's treasure is on the hill in the center of the board.  There are four other locations to search/seize treasure as well.  The figure must start the turn in contact with the treasure markers and spend an entire turn (two full actions) acquiring it.

Captain Reynold's Gang (L) and Daydreamer's Crew (R)

Most of Captain Reynolds' crew moved forward towards the main treasure, while their pilot, Dry, investigated the potential loot in the foothills.  He was surprised by the whizzing of arrows, and a primitive Blue Martian shooting arrows at him!

Daydreamer's Protocol Droid CT-42 quickly acquired a side treasure, as did the mechanic Ruby for Reynolds.    Reynolds found himself pre-occupied with keep Dry alive, wounding the Blue Martian and letting gravity take him out.

There was a running gun battle on the central hill between Reynolds' #2, Sue and Daybreaker, with a few errant missiles streaking overhead.  It appeared that Daybreaker's partner, Kim Jong-Una had brought and rocket launcher to a treasure hunt and was shooting just a bit high.

Another Blue Martian appeared on the opposite side of the board, taking out Teddy the Medic.

More Blue Martians continue to pour from the foothills and harass Dry.  He held his own, even recovering from multiple shock before a Blue Martian pushed him off the cliff to his death.  (Both the human and the Blue Martian rolled 1's in a multi-figure combat.

Once Zoe from Reynold's crew obtained the main treasure, the area was lit up like a holiday.  Kim Jong-Una's rocket landed true, only knocking back Sue, but seemingly killing Daybreaker!   A second shot hit the area again, with minimal damage, but the time had come for Reynolds and the crew of The Lightning Bug to depart.

Lesson learned:  If you want to keep your treasure safe, putting in Blue Martian burial grounds might protect it.... or might not.

A quick first scenario from Wiley Games' For a Fistful MoreTwenty scenarios for $15 feels like a bargain nowaday....

Daybreaker's gang, thanks to the protocol droid, picked up some Renown, at little cost  Both Flash Daybreaker and Teddy the Medic waited until things cool off and stumbled back into town, with no real injuries.

Captain Reynolds' crew grew famous for acquiring Wanyo's treasure, but the cost was high.  Their pilot, Dry, was lost in the mission, and willing replacements seemed to be sparse.
