Well that was progress! These fellows may have already seen some "base coat" time on the wargaming table, but the the 27th German Infantry Rifles, "Die Leinenkugels" are finally finished.... at least the Rifle portion
Die Leinenkugels have a storied, if barely painted, career. They were one of two units in my very first home game, The Battle of Chucaquatre, that started the Wishing Well War. The unit was once commanded by Crown Prince Otto von Buckvitz, 8th in line for the German throne.
Time to finish up the peasants, bier grenadiers, and support staff. The sad thing is this production here is officially four times my Gnome Wars output compared to the last two years combined.
No promises on when the next German units, the Yuenglings and the Liladunsts will see play.
In the Queue: As many German Gnomes as I can pump out, plus the sci-fi buildings and some West End Star Wars miniatures I primed up.
