(Kickstarter) Rock Band: A Solo RPG Story Generator by Past Adventures

In a world where I'm still waiting on some stragglers from last February's #Zinequest, it's nice to see some similar projects pop up over the year without the promotion (or over-saturation).

Speaking of promotion and over-saturation, Rock Band is a solo-RPG recounting the glory days of garage bands.

From the Kickstarter:
Rock Band: A Solo RPG Story Generator is intended to be “played” as a multi-sitting solo story-generating experience using the conventions of tabletop role-playing games. It uses die-rolling, event tables, “experience points,” and discrete band levels—all elements familiar to any tabletop role-player— to create a story centered around imaginary characters that begin as a garage band. However, unlike traditional role-playing games, which are social group activities, this is intended as a solo storytelling experience. Nonetheless, it could easily be adapted for a traditional role-playing group in a cyberpunk “Rocker” or similar campaign.

Rock Band: A Solo RPG Story Generator is a 64-page 6” x 9” ‘zine produced as either a PDF ebook or print-on-demand (POD) color booklet. Final distribution of digital and physical rewards will be delivered via DriveThruRPG.com. Note that the POD physical reward level does not include the cost of printing and shipping, which you pay directly to DriveThruRPG (approximately $11-12 for printing and slowest shipping to US).

I think I've done enough Kickstarters-on-a-whim over the last twelve months, but the $5 pdf is the perfect price point for me.  In addition, I somehow missed Past Adventures first Kickstarter, a straight Pulp adventure The Abyssinia Affair, currently available on DriveThruRPG.
