The last week hasn't been the greatest, and the HMGS drops this into my e-mail this afternoon:

Sweet Baby Jesus on a bedazzled donkey, I know there's a section of HMGS that's terrified of losing vendors to Adepticon, but burying Cold Wars in the middle of winter isn't the warm fuzzy feeling I want to have.
The only positive would be a return to the old Host, although we've all had fun experiences with Fall/early Spring snow there over the years.
For me, it's an immediate no to run events or spend the weekend there. It is within my personal day trip parameters, but no matter what the groundhog said a few days earlier, I couldn't ponder that decision until weather forecasts a few days earlier.
Add in that I'm considering not attending Fall-In! 2025 in November, in favor of a reunion of old friends at Mepacon the following week, and I better have one helluva of a Historicon next month.
