Last month was the 11th anniversary of my first monthly gaming solicitation breakdown. For those eleven years, I was perusing Alliance Games' pre-order book/magazine, Game Trade Magazine, and breaking down the items I wanted, the items I needed extra money or whimsy to get, and an imaginary store list, not covering everything, but those items that stores should stock, and some thinking out loud as it pertained to RPGs or the board game community's proliferation, or some stupid product line that was bound to bite store owners in the ass if they dove into it whole-hearted and half-witted.
Of course, the best way to support eleven years of effort would be for Alliance to become victim of a ransomware attack, right during holiday prep and restocks. Pre-orders were lost, payments prevented, and worst of all, and back catalog of Game Trades simply gone. Issue #262 was due to be in pdf on November 24th, the exact day of the my monthly article's anniversary, but alas, nothing is there.
I am tempted to make a special trip to the FLGS just to see if physical copies of the issue are available.
