The Fall-In! 2023 PEL is Up!

 'Tis the season, the Preliminary Event List (PEL) for Fall-In! 2023 is up.  

As I normally do with HMGS cons, I'm just listing the events that interest me.  Multiple sessions will probably not be listed, so definitely review the entire document here to see if there are other options.

In this scenario, American Marines have closed in on the wood, trying to catch the Germans in a pincer movement from both West and South. However, chaos ensued quickly, as Marines got lost, received inaccurate information, and found machine gun armed Germans crawling among the dense foliage and rocks. Go Devil Dogs!

This game is teen friendly and all are invited to attend.
A full-blown tournament setting in direct competition with the traditional "gnome" joust.   Perhaps for a more refined clientele, or at least one willing to devote to three rounds of competition.

An Imperial Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser, the Vector, was found adrift in a remote hyperspace lane. A strike team was sent in to investigate, but we lost contact with the team lead.

HU119: Forest Terrain

HU122: Painting for Complete Beginners

Description: Painting for Complete Beginners - This class is about painting techniques and how to create good-looking miniatures. Most beginning painters are faced with the daunting task of figuring out how to start: hundreds of paint colors to choose from, a multitude of brushes, and applying pigment to the miniature. This class will pull back the curtain and reveal how to start building a foundation for intermediate and advanced classes. The student will learn about paint selection to create an interesting painted figure. Brush control, brush geometry, and techniques will be put into practice on a miniature.

Considering I'm not planning on making an appearance for most of Saturday, I'm a bit concerned this event, and my 2pm game of the same name are on the wrong day.  Don't know if we can work around things at this time.  Fearing a complete wash for me, but probably not the event.

Saturday, 5:00 PM, 5 hrs, Players: 12, Location: Heritage: HG-9 GM: Jeremy Lopez & Battletech Sponsor: None, Prize: None Period: SciFi, Scale: 1:285 micro, Rules: Total Warfare and Tac Ops Description: Clan Space, 12 November 3074, an Overlord C Dropships escorted to York by the Titanic, was damaged by Star Adder fighters, and crashed into the remote Landers Valley. Both the Star Adders and Blood Spirits sent forces to secure the crash zone and any salvage. When both forces arrived, they found the crashed ship and each other, but ten Crimson Hawk Battlemechs had survived the crash. The Spirits begin to battle the Adders, hoping to keep them from the crash site until reinforcements arrive. All materials, miniatures and dice will be provided. Intermediate to experienced players and no players under 15 years old.
