It's Day 9 of #RPGaDay and "Inspire" is on the board.
What's inspiring me recently? To be completely honest, I have a pile of RPG books next to me, waiting to be reshelved. Full RPGs, zines, supplements, the whole gamut. Outside of DAMNIT, which I covered yesterday, nothing has been tickling my fancy.
So I'll go back to my narrative based skirmish wargaming.
I have the pdf for In the Land of the Sundering Flood by Mammoth Miniatures, and am still awaiting the physical copy in the mail from the UK. I love Mammoth's stuff, most notably Planet 28 for sci-fi gaming, and I'm currently working Brutal Quest into a narrative wargaming campaign.
But looking at my pdf copy, this is another masterpiece, and different enough to let me get some inspiration for more than the occasional wargame.
And I’ve started reading William Morris, so I'm bound to get further inspired,
