Paint Brushes STAY ROCKY MOUNTAIN COLD!!!

In the waning days of the regular season for our minor league hockey franchise, there was one last Meet-and-Greet with the players, right down the road at a local pizzeria.  We're regulars to any hockey function nearby, and the kids love asking the players random questions, so it was a no-brainer.

The best part about the last scheduled appearance of the season is that the sponsor tends to empty out the closets of freebies and giveaways, like signed equipment.  The worst part is that the sponsor is a big beer company that makes questionable swill.

Still, with the idea of extra giveaways from a beer promotion, I bit the bullet, ordered some watered down yellow water, and got two aluminum cups to increase my chances to win.

In the end, we came out with just a free hat, but I did take the cups home.  Nothing exciting thus far, but a little black spray paint...
... and I have paint brush holders, one for regular, the other for drybrushes.  Beats the pencil case I've been using for them, knives, and drills since the turn of the century.  Easier to access, but they take up less space!

  1. Nice. Great use of a Coors can. Sorry you had to drink what was inside. :)
