(Star Wars d6) #0 - The Characters

Ne'vets Aharo
Ne'vets Aharo comes from a line of indifferent small planet nobility.  Unlike his contemporaries, Ne'vets preferred to use his minor wealth and power for a higher calling, his own personal greed.

For years now, he has established himself as a broker/dealer in the exotic galactic animal market.  He's developed a narrow network of big-game hunters, conservationists with questionable morals, and other dealers to fill most of his customer's needs, be it a Tarkanian Bald Gerbil, or miniature albino Zeer from Naboo.

Ne'vets does possess an Imperial license to buy, sell, and trade these animals, something that's common in Coruscant, but less common for his customers near the Outer Rim.  That's not saying he doesn't have a number of customers seeking black-market animals.  He just adds the additional costs of bribes and smugglers' fees into the costs.

He is neither a friend of the Empire, nor is he a supporter of the fledgling resistance.  Imperial bureaucrats continue to drain his resources and threaten his livelihood and physical well-being, while the revolutionaries are more likely to target his legal shipments, freeing the animals, but usually releasing them into some environment that they can't survive in.

Evus Monzal
Evus Monzal is Ne'vets' main muscle and protection.  The purple Twi'lek is also his slave. Evus was born into slavery on Nal Hutta, the homeworld of the Hutts. He has always been stubborn and servitude was not his style. His mother found a way to get him into gladiatorial contests and from there he fought his way to freedom. Unfortunately, before he was able to make his way off-world, he was tempted to one more fight.

He bet on himself and lost. He now serves a new master, named Ne'vets Aharo, until he can work the debt off. As masters go, he isn't the worst and the pay seems good. It won't be long until he can claim his freedom

Tarrie Prolak
Tarrie Prolak grew up on one of the galaxy’s Core Worlds, Corellia, that is known for its ace pilots and large starships. Prolak knew his destiny wouldn’t be found on Corellia and he would be in the cockpit of some type of starship exploring the vast expanse of the galaxy. While excelling at the academy he found himself in conflict with the rules and regulations at school and local laws on the street. As a result, Prolak drifted to the seedy space ports looking for work. At one of these ports, he became acquainted with Ne'vets Aharo and his crew. As long as you didn’t have a conscience, or were able to drink away the things that weighed on it, the contracts with Ne'vets paid well.

Frokazza
Frokazza the Wookie is, of course, from Kashyyyk.  His father worked at refining operations near the city of Kachirho.  The family also lived outside the view of the tree making up Kachirho.  He grew up learning his father's trade, but as Clone Wars became closer to the planet, his family pleaded with him to leave.  He hitched a right on a tramp freighter and bounced around from system to system.

Frokazza met up with Tarrie at a small cantina on some forgotten backwater planet.  They talked, and it was agreed that both would be better off together, transporting freight across the galaxy.
