(Kickstarter) Star Schlock Astroguards Miniatures by Wunkay

 After the Legions of Steel Kickstarter on Monday, and Star Wars Day yesterday, I thought I might be sci-fi'ed out, but then the Star Schlock Astroguards Miniatures.

Right now the base deal for each squad is  8 Astroguard, plus a light repeating laser trooper and a heavy weapon trooper.  On top of that, each pledge of $11 or more gets a free space cadet figure.  Not bad for day one goals.  

The figures are sculpted in 70s and 80s style (which I read as "squat armor on full sized humans"  A forty dollar investment looks good enough for me for a faction in one of my games (Tatooine Mining Collective anyone? Time to search again for that Cobb Vanth figure)
