Global warming aside, the winter doldrums are usually not a good time for new releases. Add the number of mysterious new releases that are a large investment for player/GM/store either financially, multiple product, or both, I just don't have a large list of items that I'm either interested in, either as a player or the owner of an imaginary store. History of doing this monthly review tends to prove me right.

I know all this was crowdsourced, and I've seen some games on the periphery of some game conventions, but for the FLGS, this is a considerable outlay, especially if the new game is a nominal seller.

Rant uploaded: Wizkids is marketing D&D Book Tabs for the WotC HC adventures: Acrylic tabs to help keep track of important sections. As a guy who likes his books pristine, until they are worn down by age, I am in no way the demographic for these products, but there a far cheaper ways to do this from your office supply store, and be able to use them for multiple books.
