Looking for the Chaos to Stop

While the last ten months have vacillated between chaos, terror, and just plain old uncertainty, the last four-plus years in the United States haven't exactly been sunshine and jellybeans, either.

I've given gamified my opinion of the exiting President early on, and I stand by my stats.   His parody figure, available at Brigade Games allowed for some interesting plot development in Season Three of our Pulp Campaign.  One of my few regrets is not getting more of the political figures painted up and used over these last few years.  "Sleepy Joe" showed up on the website recently without any fanfare, but he will get used in multiple games.

Thankfully, the post-election mess has been minimal to the average American (save the Capitol casualties, and the further beating to death of common sense.)  It's been awhile since we ran a game in our COVID-themed campaign, but there are some obvious themes and characters I'd like to re-visit.

I'd like to think that, with the removal of the chief instigator from center stage, and the chastisement of other political figures, we might return to a bit of the government involving collaboration and compromise, producing results neither ideological wing will be happy with, but will allow for government and society to operate sufficiently to so somewhat effective.

Then again, 2021 Crazy Bingo Card might rival 2020's.  We'll have to wait and see, all the while masking, washing our hands, and playing lots of online games.
