No, this isn't some April Fool's Prank. While waiting for the Steve Jackson Kickstarter to launch, I did notice a campaign to fund the 10th Annual All Girl's Chess Tournament in the Milwaukee metro area.
I am horrible at Chess, and I would prefer my girl's compete against all comers, but I completely understand why this is done. The Chess Team in high school was just as chauvinistic and socially disastrous as the the football team in the middle of the weight room.
With all the assinine projects being created on crowd-funding sites, this one is clear, concise, and worthy of at least a buck donation.
