Gaming plans didn't materialize like I imagined for the last twelve months. Here's hoping I set ever more impossible goals for 2024-25.
I had most of this outlined months ago, but upon reviewing the older posts, as I also do every year, I realized I needed to add, revise a few things.
- Gnomish Space Marines - People like these posts, I like them as well, so it's a no brainer to focus on Planet 28, my Death Planet Iota, building units, playing in adventures. Painting up the Star Wars minis to join Death Planet Iota.
- Reviews: As tomorrow's post will demonstrate, people do look at my reviews, both gaming and game stores. Might as well take a day trip or two when I can and visit some new game stores, and especially review the little new product I actually purchase.
- The Burning Trogs Wiki: I patched up some relations and corrected some emails. If I can't start the Burning Trogs Redux Hackmaster game up, at least I can compile a site with the essential information, maybe even integrate by Georic Gazetteer info.
- The Gamma World Wiki: I should have jumped on this at the start, particularly with the mix of published, third party, and even stuff I made of the top of my head.
- The Mogens File: If Hackmaster doesn't work, compiling the basic data to unretire the old Call of Cthulhu campaign warrants a look-see. The option of free Sundays to game face-to-face also sounds wonderful.
- Mouslings: The Reaper mice are cute, I have a bunch of them, and anything with them in it gets hits, so it would be stupid not play a few of the scenarios that are in my drafts with the girls. Might as well stat them out in Pulp Alley for practice.
- Pulp Season 4 - I'm still not sure about the entire fourth season, but the made-for-TV-movie that launches has made significant progress, and I'm more much more confident of something occurring this year than the last two.
- Beyond Gamma World - So my players who are reding this don't throw a conniption, I love my Gamma World Monday nights. The plot lines are just about to yield a harvest of awesomeness. That doesn't mean I shouldn't be working on fill-in games.
- The End of Gulluvia - We are at the same spot in my beloved BECMI D&D game that we were at last year. Adventures in Gulluvia needs some characters to level-up once, and I can start my end game. About 75% of this plan will suffer the same issues Gamma World has right now, but I think I can wrap up the storyline with a nice bow in twenty sessions.
In the end, there's always going to be something new in the blog, I have 84 of the next 365 days covered, already 23.1% of the days have new content!
