(Star Wars d6) #37 - Inside the Pretio

While The Pretio was the main transport for famed Billionaire Entrepreneur Kalfa Thingvillar, it was the best time to take a tour of the flagship of Exotic Animal Broker Ne'vets Aharo.

The Pretio is a modified Ghtroc 720 Light Freighter, one of the most common freighters in the galaxy.

Pretio Interior

#24 - If one enters the Pretio by the ramp, the first thing one notices is the unquenchable stench of cooked fish.  While Ne'vets blames the microwave, but in reality its a skin condition of the Wookie, Frokazza.  Not only does the skin fungus causes matted hair and hair loss when Frokazza is stricken with anxiety, but the stench after his showers does not seem to be removed from the ship's environmental systems.  Tarrie has managed to procure a particularly expensive salve that helps his Wookie friend's condition, but it's super-lubricative properties make it used for other purposes, thus using it up much faster than anticipated.

#12 - Prior to the arrival of the Q-Ship (see below), this was a rarely used cargo hold, normally reserved for extra storage and, if one could get in, possibly the emotional wails of Frokazza, the Wookie.  The lifestyle can be taxing on the hardiest of merchants, smugglers, and long-haul pilots, and the extra space a 720 provides is a huge plus for "personal space" needs of a small crew.  If more members are added, it might not be as simple.

#10 - The lounge area has been pushed off to the corners toward the bow of the ship, making space for the gun well allowing a custom installed cupola turret a Quad-Laser.  While the Quad-Laser hasn't seen action yet, there is already talk from Tarrie and Frokazza to add another Quad-Laser to underbelly.

#8 Far Aft - Tarrie and Frokazza's quarters.  It's decorated in half forest Kashyyyk theme on one side, and aged posters of of Republic-era hair bands, Davros Lee Roth and Nautolan females running in swimsuits along the beach.
Tell me, he wasn't force sensitive and wasted all his talents.
#8 Near Aft - Evus' quarters.  As a newly free Twi'lek, Evus has moved out of Ne'vets quarters into his own.  Unfortunately he still hasn't acquired the comforts of home, so he sleeps on a bare rack, with his equipment, his clothes, and a few trinkets he's picked up along the way.  He has picked up his first pair of casual stretch coveralls, which are proudly draped over his chair, plus a burgeoning collection of weapons magazines. A collection of magazine centerfolds, a mixture of weapons schematics and numerous female aliens in bathing attire with blasters, including the same Nautolan female in Tarrie's room, adorn the walls.

#8 Starboard - Ne'vets quarters. With the departure of Evus, Ne'vets has added his eclectic collection of trophies and such to his room.  It resembles a big game adventurer's club.  There's lots of animal heads, tusks, and horns hanging on the wall.  Plenty of holo-pictures of him shaking hands with various alien chieftains,  overstuffed leather chairs, impossible looking melee weapons, as well as many leather-bound datapads and the smell of Space Mahogany.

#5 Cockpit ladder:  At the base of the ladder, in the quarters hallway, there is a vintage ice machine, used for drinks, skins conditions, and preserving exotic animal body parts.

The front of the Pretio's cockpit
#19 A converted escape pod (even three times the crew size could comfortably fit in the other pod, if things got bad.  The climate control function of the escape pod makes it perfect for the crew, Frokazza specifically to store exotic fruits and vegetables (all allegedly better for the Wookie's skin.  The spare food processor is also stored there.

#20 This escape pod is ready to go, but Evus has put a few touches on it to make it to his needs.  After bunking with Ne'vets for a long time, Evus needed a place near to him, but also could get some privacy.  He used the escape pod as a sort of isolation room.  Outside of a few tasteful blankets on the walls to muffle the sound, the Twi'lek plugged in a data pad full of Fusion Jizz Wailing music.

Q-Ship: Currently residing on the Port Cargo Lift (#11) is an experimental Q-Ship.  While most Q-Ships are rapid combat response terrestrial aircraft, this model has been modified for space travel.  However, (a) the ship is too small for a hyperdrive and (b) it can not be launched from the Pretio's cargo hold without significant damage to both ships.

Piscopo:  The Piscopo is a repulsorlift cargo transport retrofitted for safaris.  With a Dorsal Twin Laser Cannon on the roof (completely rewelded to the roof after a recent escapade) and a thin layer of armor, the Piscopo can protect its passengers from most violent wildlife, and a good amount of violent civilized life.  It resides on the starboard cargo lift (#13/#14).
