(Painting) So Many Jawas

As I mentioned multiple times on the blog, the biggest part of my haul from Fall-In!  last November was a collection of 146 Star Wars figures.  After sorting and closer inspection, not all of the figures were the West End Games Star Wars line. Some of the figures, like the entire assortment of Ewoks, were rubbery Micromachine figures that were just a tad smaller than 25mm.

The massive group of Jawas I acquired in that purchase are also Micromachines, and like the Ewoks, they just needed their bases refurbished.

Almost all of them were mounted on pennies with an odd choice of a sand/grass basing mixture.  I did realize I ran out of 20mm MDF bases, but a quick trip to the hardware store, and 3/4" washers do the trick fine than ordering new bases online plus shipping.

It appears Death Planet Iota is going to have an  inbound Jawa infestation.  Heaven's help the inhabitants and... and their droids.

Star Wars Minis:  68 out of the 146 from my flea market purchase are painted or refurbished.  Time to add another miniature case to the shopping list!

In the Queue: The Zulus have a logistical issue, a few that survived are still in the queue, as well as gnomes, and ducks (yes, ducks!)  I thought I had stowed away the rest of the Star Wars figures, but a few have snuck back onto the table!

Project 350: Holding steady at 462 (295/167)  from  463 (295/168).  There's a collection of games, I've nicknamed "Dead Bird" that I'd like to get going for February.  Once the first game occurs, the gears are in motion to take another two or three of my blog drafts and start chiseling away at the rest.
