Between another promotion at work, crazy family stuff, and #RPGaDay, I'm only posting the occasional Kickstarter that interests me, plus the weekly Lost Dispatches on Tuesdays.
However, yesterday, after a hellacious day of travel, testing, and incompetence, I got home near dusk and oddly grabbed the mail. Nothing is scheduled to come by the mail except bills, so I was surprised to find an envelope addressed to me with a strange Maine return address.
It was my initial invite to the ill-fated The Weekend, sponsored by Otto Schmidt.
As I made mention previously, Otto had cancelled the year's The Weekend and soon passed away from surgical complications not much later.
I couldn't find the time to attend this year's if I tried, but it made me chuckle to receive a letter postmarked April 22nd for the June get-together, in the middle of August.
