Children Of The Dust is a rules-lite tabletop RPG about surviving in a society that hates you.
From the Kickstarter:
As a group of kids who escaped a genocide and the destruction of their country, players will have to deal with living in a city where most people hate them because of what they are, or risk their lives in the ever-changing and incredibly dangerous forest of Mephard, tainted by the illegal alchemic weapons used during the war.
The whole game revolves around the idea that the world hates you, so most of the times you won't be choosing between good options and bad options, as much as trying to figure out what's less likely to end up with your demise.
The game system is very simple and it's basically an expanded version of World of Dungeons by John Harper, which is a simplified version of the PBTA system, but most of the manual is dedicated to the setting, monsters and other material that you can easily convert to other systems and use however you like.
Just a wee bit dark, with very uncomfortable material, this game doesn't appear to be for the faint of heart, but the potential is there for some phenomenal game sessions.
