Nic Evans of Mammoth Miniatures has released his second Kickstarter, Brutal Quest, a Narrative Miniatures Rules Set.
Brutal quest is designed to give you that old-school miniature wargaming experience with a modern twist. Based on the Planet 28 rule system, Brutal quest is inspired by the inq28/Aos28 movements. Brutal quest is meant to provide a quick and simple rule system for playing one off games or linked campaigns with warbands of lovingly converted miniatures.
Brutal quest is a narrative wargame - whilst you can play it competitively, the rules are designed with story telling in mind. As such Brutal quest can be played as either a one v one battle, or as a long form narrative campaign overseen by a game master.
