(Painting) Kemper Episcopalian Medical Militia for Gnome Wars

As I mentioned when I unveiled most of the command group for the Kemper Episcopalian Medical Militia, episode #620 of Ken and Robin Talk About Stuff was a tour de force:  character sheet design,  the sunken city of Rungholt, designer  Anthony Joyce-Rivera, and spiritualist medical grave robber Joseph Nash McDowell.

For months, it's been a slow burn, setting up the gnomish exploration Dr. McDowell forming a medical militia  (Episcopalian, to counter the growing Catholic medical college across the river.)

The paint scheme was inspired by Captain Jack Dinero, part of the Four Lone Rangers.  Obviously his stories are legendary, but he most certainly spent some time in the "Show-Me" Republic.

The collected unit is well over 320 points for a Gnome Wars game.  For unit building purposes treat all figures as normal Southern gnomes, except.  

Dr McDowell - 40 pts

Cinnamon the Bear - 30pts

Jed Sawbuck - 20 pts

This puts me over 100 figures for the year, the first time since the latter half of COVID!  We'll see what else we can put together for Historicon. 

Next:  Gamorreans, Cultists, Zulus.  Outside of a flag for the unit, this finished project creates a huge empty swath on the bench.
