Thumbnail Sketch:
Aragain was named after Aragain "The Unyielding", a ranger of repute who was a valued ally and good friend to Emperor Leif III of Feraso. Aragain was granted the entirety of the Giantspire Mountains, or well as title of King from the Emperor, and the kingdom has served as a mighty buffer from Senzar influence ever since. There was still a faint hint of the Bloodblade bloodline of Feraso, as Aragain and Leif's descendants were quite close, and marriage was common, up until 50 years ago. While the average layman associates the mountains with this country, and for good reason, the majority of the population resides in the bucolic valleys along the southern base. fields of various grains, and lush orchards dot the countryside.
Aragain has become a volatile country with multiple members of the royal family grabbing Senzar nobility within their colonies. Queen Petrilla herself has married Hondolus, a Senzar Prince from their colonies, and has heavily influenced the Queen towards healthy relations with the Senzar Empire. Prince Ultrecht Aragain of Arinka , a nephew of Queen Petrilla, has played a foil to the Prince-Consort, recently married Princess Cassandra from Crosedes, despite being seventh in succession for the throne.
Ultrecht's machinations have restricted Hondolus' influence, eliminated the Council of Nine, a ruling body of nobility that handled day-to-day affairs, and has guaranteed that Petrilla's descendants will have much more power on the throne.
Aragain will surprise a new traveler. Most of the army is mounted, led by the Knights of the Spiral Hawk, much of the navy actually sails windships out of Barchant. The port city of Velandro is home to the Archbishop of Aragain, Theron "Brightscales" who also acts as headmaster of a peculiar academy.
Aragain produces an uncomfortably large cohort of Paladins of Akana, and the religious center in Velandro is one of two complexes that produce kobold paladins.
Interra's Forge of the Five Elements: Interra was an influx of Wyrmnalian Dwarves after the arrival of Aragain I. They assimilated into the dwarven kingdoms and drew heavily from Senzar architecture. Within its depths is the Forge of Five Elements. Rumored to be powered by the still-beating hearts of multiple dragons, even mundane items forged there are known to be legendary.
The Cathedral of Starlight in Velandro: This grand cathedral, inspired by Archbishop, is in it's earliest stages of construction, but their is a large temple to Akana already constructed. The plans for the cathedral include magic animation of the stained glass and a magically translucent roof to see the stars. It is rumored that once completed, prayers offered to Akana here will be answered more swiftly by the gods. The cathedral currently house the elder kobolds committed to theological and military training.
The Golden Grove of Guya: A mystical forest where every tree has golden leaves that shimmer in the moonlight. The grove is inhabited by enchanted creatures such as fey and talking animals, and its heart is guarded by a powerful dryad queen, Arandelle. The grove is a source of powerful healing herbs and potions, which are sought after by alchemists and healers across the land. The Golden Grove is a sacred place, under the protection of the dryad's minions, and many druids.
Religion: Akana is the state faith, although Ferasean mythos has a presence. Velandro has a history of Ispatlian and Argivian influence, largely left in the architecture, but the temples are still intact, and the one to Poseidon is popular among sailors.
Geography of Note:
The Giantspire Mountain Range: Slightly shorter than the Skyforge Mountains, the Giantspire is the natural border for Aragain and Crosedes, and hosts many secrets, including dragons, giants, and ancient lairs.

| It is unsure if Verisom, the Green Dragon, or the Aragain cavalry are more surprised with this encounter. |
