It appears the residual Kickstarters associated with #Zinequest continue well into September, and an old nemesis reemerges.
Netherborn Games has launched a Kickstarter for Heartless, a Horror adventure written for the Anyworld RPG, but generic enough for most systems.
From the Kickstarter blurb:
Heartless is a tabletop horror adventure in which the players take on the role of police officers in the fictional small town of Alderton, Oregon in 1986. The adventure begins with the horrific discovery of a dead teenage girl, strung up and mutilated. As the days pass, more victims will follow as the players must race against time to stop the killer. As their investigation develops they will learn of the occult forces at play in Alderton and the violent events of the town's past.
Sounds great, and the pledge options for pdf, pdf/print, and versions to acquire the scenario and Anyworld rules are great, except that my personal bugbear, UK shipping has reared its ugly head again.
Pledge level for pdf/print copies of the scenario is about $12 US. Shipping just the scenario to the US from the UK is $15 US. I'll consider the very affordable pdf, but my normal boycott of UK items due to shipping must continue.
